Dan has over twenty five years of U.S. and Canadian marketing experience. His expertise covers a wide variety of data-driven practices including lead generation, acquisition, loyalty, retention, continuity marketing and customer relationship management programs. Industry sector experience includes high tech, insurance, financial services, credit card marketing, publishing, travel, tourism, entertainment, and not-for-profit marketing, and much more.
Dan is a major contributor to the marketing industry and has served as chairman for the Canadian Marketing Association's Interactive and Online Marketing Conference, and is an Executive Committee Member of the CMA's e-Marketing Council. He served as Programming Chairman for the CMA's Annual Conference from 2001-2003, and now performs as overall Chairman of the CMA's Annual Convention and Trade Show.
He is one of a select group of instructors for the Canadian Marketing Association's Direct Marketing Certification Program, the program that defines direct marketing expertise in Canada, and is a frequent speaker on direct marketing and online issues.
Dan has spent ten years in senior advertising agency positions in Canada, and the previous fifteen years in various marketing and advertising agency positions in New York City. He has also held direct marketing positions in the publishing and public broadcasting sectors. He has an undergraduate degree in fine arts, and a graduate degree in business from New York University. He is a former faculty member of the Parsons School of Design in New York. In his spare time, Dan is a hobby blacksmith and serves on the Board of Directors for Arts Milton.
